You are known by God.
You were formed and created by God Himself. Nothing about you is hidden from Him. He knows your dreams, your struggles, your fears. He knows the rhythm of your heartbeat and the details swept into the farthest corners of your life. He knows you more completely than you know yourself. He even knows the number of hairs on your head at this very moment.
“Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I'm about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. -Psalm 139:1-4
“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” —Matthew 10:30
You are loved by God.
The Bible is brimming with God’s love for you and the lengths He has gone to on your behalf. You are loved right now, in your current circumstances, with full disclosure before God—even with brokenness and pain and anything you’ve done that you’re not proud of. You are loved with a more profound, more secure love than anything the world can offer. God’s love for you is undeniable and unconditional. You are the apple of His eye.
“I have loved you with an everlasting love” — Jeremiah 31:3
“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain.” —Isaiah 54:10
You are significant to God.
It is because of His abundant love for you that God wants the very best for your life. He wants your life to be full of hope and abounding with purpose. He wants to secure your place in Heaven with Him for eternity. You are so important to God that He was willing to send His only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for the sin in your life that separates you from Him.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
“I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” —John 10:10
You are pursued by God.
God wants a personal relationship with you. He wants you to accept His gift of forgiveness and hope for your future.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock…” —Revelation 3:20
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” —James 4:8
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” —Jeremiah 29:12, 13
God,
Thank you for loving me, just as I am.
I know I’ve sinned and I’m asking for your forgiveness.
Today I’m inviting Jesus to be the Lord of my life.
I know He’s the only one that can
bridge the gap between us that sin creates.
I ask You to help me live the life of purpose You’ve planned for me.
Thank you for Your gift of love and new life.
Amen.
You are saved and sealed by God.
Once you’ve accepted the gift of Jesus, you are adopted into God’s family as His child. Your place in eternity is secure. You can know this with complete certainty.
“…and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” —Ephesians 1:13
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” —Romans 10:9
You have a hope and a future.
Accepting Jesus as your Lord changes everything—in fact, you’ve become a whole new creation! God wants you to live a life of purpose and He has good things planned for you! He has promised to be with you through all the challenges you encounter and nothing will ever be able to separate you from His unfailing love.
